Into 2024

Well it’s been a hell of a year so far!

Sheffield’s electronic wizards, I Monster, best known for the iconic “Daydream in Blue” have finally trumped their big hit, thanks to a new young audience who came via Tik Tok (of course) and who have discovered their amazing “Who is She?” from Neveroddoreven. A staggering 139 million streams on Spotify (and counting!). New singles accompanied their sold-out European tour in April and we unleashed the 20th Anniversary double vinyl release of their landmark album.
June sees their return to the UK stage with shows in Sheffield, Glasgow and London.

New signing, the acclaimed New York singer songwriter Annie Dressner
has been touring the UK for what seems like most of 2024 with more shows to come through summer.
Check out her hugely acclaimed new album “I Thought It Would Be Easier”.

Over at sister publisher Knoxsongs Gina Larner is trailblazing her way into the pop country canon while showing everyone how social media is done. Keep your eyes open for shows through the summer and her singles “One Way Or Another” , “Sin” and the brand new one “Say What You Want“.

In other Knoxsongs news, we recently welcomed the awesome Aussie singer songwriter Ernest Aines. We met him early this year at the Americana Fest ahead of a UK tour. He’s back in the UK for another tour which starts at the Cambridge Folk Festival on July 25th. Check him right out!

Oh, and did we tell you that the fabulous Megan Henwood is about to make a spectacular and very welcome return from her extended sabbatical? We are thrilled to partner with Karma Sounds to release a new EP of acoustic covers where Megan brings her distinctive style to something otherwise rather familiar… Listen to the EP “Kyoto” here…

Meanwhile over at our sister label Instant Karma…. (new website!) ….we are thrilled to announce the arrival of gifted composer/arranger/producer/musician/artist Donna McKevitt. Loads of music to come not least the soundtrack to the wonderful art movie “The Swimming Diaries” which is quite frankly as good as it gets. We also just released her stunning score to the movie “My Name Is Alfred Hitchcock“. More to come! Get a taste of all that here

And June 14th sees the release of a new collaboration between our own Santi Arribas (Roadside Bandits Project) and the former singer from the legendary GANG OF FOUR, John Sterry. Listen to the first single “Running Away” out now! …
